Houston’s

My mother, visiting from CO, took us out to this restaurant as she used to go with a close friend and has good memories. My husband and I had never been before, but many friends had recommended it. We all chose steaks and all the steaks we ate were delicious. Derek, our server, was attentive, friendly and on the spot with refilling our drinks. We look forward to coming back and trying other dishes we saw on the menu.

The service was great and the food was even better. I had tried the artichoke dip and the salmon. My husband had the steak well done. We cleaned them plates.

Houston’s is always delicious. Always. You need to have the spinach dip and the cheeseburger. The staff is team oriented, which I love. I noticed everyone checking for empty glasses and dishes on every table they walked past. The vibe is a bit stuffy. Older people and Boca business men seem to be the main clientele, but they’ve added some nice outdoor dining that feels more laid back if you’re lucky enough to snag a reservation.

Food here is always great. Portions are very generous. The veggie burger is delicious. My favorite are always the side sides: mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and their bread.. are like an addiction. Curbside pick up is well organized and prompt. They always give us the delicious brownies. Prices are high, but it’s Houston’s, so it’s expected.

A little pricey but steaks and trout were both worth it.
