An absolutely outstanding public school. I attended this school as a 4th and 5th grader back in 19?? lol My first daughter was also lucky enough to attend in 2005. By then it has been updated nicely and one of my teachers was still there and one other had just retired the previous year. Anyone lucky enough to live in is district will not be disappointed in anyway!

Best 6 years of my life K-5th. And I met most of my best friends there. I wish I could do it again!

Great school with great character. When I first moved my boys in to Addison, the difference between this early-60’s era school and the brand-spanking-new school that they had come from really jumped out at me. I looked at all of the portable classrooms and thought that I had made a mistake, but Addison is really amazing. The amount of parental involvement is crazy. The teachers are outstanding to a person. Both of my boys are *really* excited about learning. The work is hard and it seems that there’s always some sort of major project due, but since they get into them so much… I have to say “Keep ’em coming.” Now that I’ve been a couple of years, I say “don’t mess with success” and am in the camp with most of the other parents I know who want to keep the school eclectic and 60’s-ish.
