Great school. Good community. Tons of parent involvement. Maybe a little too much sometimes (helicopter parents).

Terrible interaction with a group of their students today, while at Epcot. Yelling, screaming, attempting to cut lines, pushing, bumping, etc. The chaperone was not interested in maintaining appropriate behavior. If they are going to wear clothing adorned with the school name they should understand they serve as ambassadors.

I attended for two years and loved it the only bad part was the food but the fifth grade play was great to participate in.

While many of you think that Del Prado is an A rated school, it is actually overrated and they have a carefree attitude about your child’s education. The school in itself focuses on fundraising and killing trees. When your child does struggle they send a counselor to your home and make you feel like your child is stupid and make you the most horrible mother. They give children istation help which is a computerized software. I do not feel this is a proper approach to a struggling child. The car line is a hazard with cars piled up in one lane from 10 block away causing cars to drive on sidewalks (but of course they do not see that). God forbid it rains which many of you know in Florida it RAINS!!!! The line is up to 45 minutes and then they wonder why you are late.

DONT JOIN THE PLAY!!! THEY YELLED AT THIS GIRL FOR SKIPPING 1 DAY WHEN SHE HAD TO ATTEND A FUNERAL FOR HER FAMILY MEMBER. NICE GOING MS.MONTGOMERY. SO HAPPY IM OUT OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. GOTTA BLAST!!
