I’ve been using Boca Auto for years and have nothing but praise for both Fred and Ruth. They are honest, trustworthy, personable, ethical and conduct their business with high integrity. I count myself fortunate to have an auto repair company like this that I can trust.

I’ve had the worst experiences at car mechanics, dealerships etc. & came here nervously wondering what was wrong with my car now… the lady at the front desk was so kind and understanding and was right on time for our scheduled appt which is a coin toss at mechanic shops sometimes. She checked my car out quickly and didn’t even charge me – I will definitely be going back here. I highly recommend this place. They also give 10% off the hourly labor pay to students.

Honest, fair, reasonably priced – everyone at Boca Auto is kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Ruth goes out of her way to find a better price on any parts you need, and will never try to talk you into something you don’t need. It is so refreshing to have a local repair shop that you can trust!

Ruth is friendly, knowledgeable, bust most importantly(and most rare), she is HONEST! I heard her dealing with a client that had been incorrectly told by a dealership that she would need a bunch of work on her car. Ruth straight up turned away the business because the client actually didn’t need those services yet. Wow . You rarely see that happen with auto mechanics. Furthermore, she was super nice and helpful diagnosis my Jeeps check engine light. Highly recommend

My car AC was only coming out of half the vents, and it was getting miserable to drive. I went to the Coconut Creek Hyundai last week where I purchased my car and where I have always gone for service. I was already getting brakes, spark plugs, brake fluid, oil change, and filter change at Hyundai, so I asked if they could look at my AC as well. They said it would be $175 just to look at it and who knows for the actual service cost. This seemed insane to me—I was spending over $1000 and Hyundai couldn’t even LOOK at my AC or give a ballpark cost???

So I found Boca Auto Service with great reviews and called to get a price for looking at my AC. I was blown away when Ruth said it was free to look at it—what a night and day difference!!

Ruth was SO friendly and helpful and explained to me how she was diagnosing the fuse/fan issue. She ordered the part right away to arrive in 3 days (really 1 business day since this was the Friday before Labor Day) and quoted a very reasonable price of $380 for the part plus 2 hrs labor. I went into today, my car was fixed in less than 90 minutes, AND the final price was in fact only $260!! Just a wonderful experience.

Finding a good mechanic is intimidating—that’s why I have only ever gone to the dealership, and why I was driving around wayyyy too long in the Florida summer with a malfunctioning AC. But now that I’ve found Boca Auto Service, I will NEVER go anywhere else!! My husband will be taking his car here too, and we will be singing their praises to everyone we know.

Finally, if you’ve read this far, I should add that they have a very comfy waiting area, there is an Einstein bagels across the street, and you can easily walk to Mizner Park with shops, Starbucks etc. 10/10, recommend to anyone in the Boca area!
