Johnny’s Bike Garage

Best bike shop in South Florida! My boyfriend and I have been shopping for a while for affordable used bikes. Johnny owns and operates this shop. He is Covid conscious, the shop is impeccably clean and he is extremely patient and passionate about bikes. We are new “casual” riders so we did not want to pay a lot for a bike. Looked at craigslist and marketplace but just couldn’t be sure what I was getting. And the cost to buy one elsewhere and then pay to have it cleaned up and tuned up came out to be more than buying one ready to ride in pristine condition from Johnny. Super nice guy. Before you buy a bike anywhere else, go talk to Johnny!

Had a cable break for the rear derailleur and called to have it repaired. Repair scheduled and completed in a few days. During the repair the mechanic noted several other problems with my bike. I was contacted and pictures were provided of the other problems. I was asked if I wanted the additional repairs (estimates provided); I did and they were all done professionally and at a reasonable charge. Several additional small items were repaired for no charge and a bike cleaning was also provided at no charge. Very happy with the service/pricing and the images provided before additional repairs were done. Great bike repair shop!

I rarely go out of my way to write a review. But, I needed to do this one because Joao was beyond incredible and knowledgeable about everything my bike needed. He was very thorough with the price and what needed to be done and what could wait for the next tune-up.
He provided his phone number and kept me updated about the progress of my bike daily. His turned around time was very quick, his response time was always timely and – most importantly – his customer service and willingness to answer ANY questions was excellent! I will definitely will not look any other way for ANY of my bikes’ need. Thank you so much Johnny (aka Joao) for the service and treating my bike so well! If you are looking for good repair I can definitely recommend this shop!
