The store feels very low on merchandise. I asked for items in the makeup department (Anastasia Beverly Hills) and kids shoes and then again in boys suits and in all 3 cases they did not have the items/sizes/inventory. So at that point I agreed an employee of their store was closing down. He laughed and said “no but it just seems bare in here.”

I’ve been shopping at Nordstrom for at least 15 years and I find this store in Towncenter to be very nice. The employees are very helpful and willing to make of your shopping experience a pleasant one. The store is super clean and very well kept and organized. The merchandise selection is excellent with different budgets in mind. I really enjoy shopping at this store.

Unfortunately, I was given the wrong color in cosmetics. I had to drive out of my way to the store to correct the matter, and they had no stock. I was giving it a different color which was not correct. After going to Bloomingdale’s to receive the correct color, I came back to Nordstrom and return the wrong color. What should take five minutes took over an hour. I filled out a survey, and they compensated me for my inconvenience. I would always shop there, because if an issue does come up, Nordstrom knows how to handle the situation properly. They value your business.

I bought a Movado watch on the Nordstrom website. It was about $70.00 off. I needed two links removed so I ended up going to the store last month. I went as soon as the store opened to avoid too many customers due to the pandemic. No one at the store knew how to remove watch links. The only person who supposedly knew how to do it wouldn’t be at work for another hour. I decided I was already there and went to look at the women’s clothing since the store was relatively empty. I killed a little over an hour looking around and bought a shirt. I went back downstairs to see if the person had arrived yet. After waiting over an hour, I was told that the person was actually not scheduled to work and that the two employees who told me otherwise were mistaken. So, I basically wasted all morning waiting for nothing. An employee recommended that if I wanted to get the links removed and not have to come back that I should try the jewelry kiosk nearby in the mall. I spent almost $30 getting the links removed at a jewelry kiosk at the mall, so this experience ate up my whole morning and cost me half of what I had saved on the watch all because no one is cross-trained at this store. Will not be returning and will continue using my Nordstrom Visa online on items that do not require a store visit.
