Five Star Home Care

Our family is not easily impressed, Sandy our case manager didn’t skip a beat. Every one that passed thru our front door we professional and exceptionally trained in there field. Christine and Mullany our nurses along with Sylvia my father’s speech therapist were amazing. I will be using this service again.

Echo the last review 100%. RN was excellent, but administration was full of empty promises. Promises to call back, never answered the on call phone when gaps occurred, and then had amnesia about previous phone conversations. In the end they dropped us after a hospitalization with no phone call because they didn’t want to come out one time per day. If you have basic need for home health they will probably suffice but when the needs are gray area or above and beyond you NEED to look elsewhere.

The nurses were very good. The management leaves much to be desired. After treating me for several months with no problems; I was hospitalized for 4 days. They had renewed me with Medicare just a few days before the hospitalization. When I came out, they abruptly cancelled me. Ostensibly they claimed the balance of the renewal because the new agency had difficulty starting with Medicare. They were told I was still covered by Five Star!
