Dr. Winters is a true professional. She is most knowledgeable about many philosophies and is always suggesting articles, books, tapes for self improvement. She is extremely intuitive and I have found her to be the most helpful doctor with whom I have worked to date.

I waited in her office for maybe 20 plus minutes confused if I went to the right building and then she was not apologetic. I specifically went to see her for EMDR but she treated it like therapy. I was not there to talk and she asked a bunch of questions and to meet my parents which crossed a boundary with me as I was there for trauma from my childhood. We had multiple sessions and I understand she wanted to know about me, but this is unnecessary for EMDR. Maybe I’m off but it felt she just wanted to extend the sessions for my money. Instead of treating a patient who already has a lot of trauma with empathy and compassion I felt invalidated and misunderstood. I’m sure she is right for someone else but not for me. Just sharing my experience.

i worked with Dr. Winter on and off since 2012. We did individual therapy, couples therapy,EMDR and hypnosis (past-life regression) all of which i found very helpful. I know that i can always reach for Dr. Winter when i need her to work through issues that arise. She was very authentic, professional and caring.
