The Pediatric Feeding Institute of South Florida

We had a wonderful experience at the Pediatric Feeding Institute. Andrea & Taylor are miracle workers! Within one week, we went from my daughter refusing to open her mouth for a spoon to eating a bowl full of purée and loving it! The week-long intensive course was a complete game-changer for our family, I don’t know where we’d be today without their help!

As parents, we all feel it is our responsibility to provide the best opportunities possible to help our children. If your child has an eating issue, no matter how severe, stop looking and don’t make the mistake that we did. My 3 1/2 year old actually regressed and was back to only eating puréed foods. If you have other therapist that you trust sometimes they may not know all of the proper options. One of our therapists referred us to a very nice lady that did feeding therapy. We were told that it was mostly a sensory-based issue. Unfortunately, while we saw slight progress at the beginning, her way of getting our son to eat involved forcing food into his mouth and forcing him to chew it. It was extremely uncomfortable and I regret doing it because it was traumatic for both my son and us as parents. After meeting and talking with Taylor and Andrea, they explained their methods and although there are no guarantees in life they assured us that they have been more than 99% successful and I absolutely believe that now. Their methods are gentle, encouraging, and absolutely amazing. Although we saw results immediately, we want to limit chances of regression and we are continuing with the full eight week course. He now eats cheeseburgers, chicken fingers, fish fingers, fresh roasted chicken, kiwi fruit, apple slices, pear slices,sweet potatoes, English muffins, eggs, bacon spinach bites and so many other foods after 4 weeks! We are very happy we have found South Florida Feeding Institute. Before we started sessions our 4yo had no interest in food at all. After 8 weeks or so with Ms. Paige we noticed tremendous difference. Now he is not afraid of food and eager to try or touch new foods. He has a variety of choices now and that makes me happy. We stopped our therapy but Christian is still asking me to go and see Ms. Paige, because she is very talented and professional in what she is doing. Ms. Paige is very patient oriented she wasn’t only doing standard sessions but she always was focused on specific aspect of food our son had. She was always patient and helpful on every stage of the therapy. She helped our family alot and we are very grateful for this

After months of trying to help my son Jacob at home and seeing another feeding therapist, he was still only ingesting formula and refusing all solids and purées. We finally started working with Taylor and Andrea and it was the best decision. In just over 2 months my 12 month old son now eats everything and self feeds. Meal times are now much less stressful and we love to see him enjoying his food! Andrea was extremely caring, flexible with schedule, and helped navigate my insurance concerns. I can’t thank you enough!

This place is amazing. Our daughter kept loosing weight and will not eat anything other than apple sauce, pudding and milk. After the 8 week program our daughter now eats anything you put in front of her. Andrea and Taylor are amazing. You can tell they know what they are doing, at the same time they know that every child is different and what works for one may not work for another child, so they really work around your child needs. I loved how they patiently listen to me as her mom and took what I said into consideration.
