I love Dr. Ben Anderson! He is the best optometrist I’ve ever been to. He is always so nice and does a thorough exam for me. He is no longer at Costco but I liked him so much that I followed him to his new location at Eagle Eye Optical in Boca.

I loved Dr. Ben Anderson! I believe he was the best doctor I’ve ever been to. I’ve had the best results with being fitted for contacts by him ever. Sorry to see that he is no longer at Costco!

I have no idea what these other people are talking about. My family has been seeing this doctor for years. He’s very personable and always went out of his way to help us. However, this is Boca and people are incredibly entitled. That could be the reason for the bad reviews. Anyway, I think Dr Anderson is a great doctor.

Incredibly rude optometrist located in Boca Raton Costco store. Only accepts cash or checks… which is against Costco policy. So much for having flexible spending card to use for such things. Receptionist…. who also happens to be his wife was equally as smug and rude. Will gladly take my family’s business elsewhere.

I went to him requesting contact lenses. He fitted me , gave me some samples and told me to come back in two weeks to see how well they worked. When I returned, he asked me how they felt, I said fine and that ended the exam. I went to buy the lenses and was told I needed prescription. I thought that the prescription would be in their computer, as it had been in the Lantana store. His receptionist handed me a prescription who told me it would cost $5. I said it was outrageous and was told too many patients request additional prescriptions and they need to charge. I paid the five dollars and went over to the optician to buy the lenses from Costco. While waiting for the lenses Dr.Anderson walked over. I told him it was outrageous to charge $5 for the duplicate prescription. He repeated the spiel. I said I still think it’s outrageous. He then proceeded to return the money.
I researched purchasing them on- line and discovered that my prescription was limited to Kirkland lenses, the Costco we prescription was useless for any other brand. I decided to return the unopened box and get a new prescription. I then requested a prescription. He went back to his office, handed me some additional samples and told me to never return. I told him I had no intention. He said get out of my store NOW.
