Dr. Charles V. Toman

Dr Toman is the absolute best in his field. He had to remove a broken titanium rod out of my left femur that was in my leg for almost 40years. One month following that he replaced my left hip. I was up and walking in a week. I have two more surgeries to go on my right hip and left shoulder and I am looking forward to having them fixed. I feel confident that I will be healed, and I will feel young again! Two Thumbs Up!!!

Being employed in the healthcare industry, it’s easy for me to be hypercritical about all aspects of my care. My recent experience with Dr. Toman and his staff, both in the office and the operating room, is nothing short of EXCEPTIONAL. From the moment Dr. Toman was aware of my accident, he has gone above and beyond to ensure I received top quality care which is a standard for all his patient care.. He took time to explain the diagnosis and treatment options. He was conservative with the treatment plan and didn’t push surgery as a first option. Unfortunately, surgery was the direction I headed. I’m grateful to have had an uneventful and successful surgery with minimal post-op pain. Dr. Toman is very knowledgeable, professional, kind, patient and he truly cares…. Just to name a few of his great qualities. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend Dr. Toman to anyone requiring orthopedic surgery.

Put off shoulder problems for years but was getting too uncomfortable. A friend recommended Dr. Toman who did his shoulder surgery. When I went for my visit he explained that I almost waited too long and needed reverse shoulder surgery. I read up on it and felt at 58 my active life was over. The surgery went great. The recovery was unbelievably painless considering. Rehab went so well I did a triathlon 4 months later. It has now been 9 months and it feels so much better than it has in years. If you need a great surgeon you have come to the right place. People can find something wrong with anything but the good result is what matters. Mine was a miracle.

Wow where do I start. Dr Toman is the most sweetest, caring doctor. He has not only done a great job on my sons knee we keep going back for the whole family. Never does he force us to do unnecessary treatment. When we need anything he is there in a snap. He just did shoulder surgery on my daughter (who has epilepsy & is very complicated) and he was professional, caring made sure he knew all he needed to help her. He continues to help her and make it as easy and comfortable for her.

Aside from being an excellent surgeon Dr Toman is a warm and compassionate man. He replaced my right shoulder and I was home the next day. Dr. Toman has a complete recovery plan for his patients that is really impressive. On my second day home an exercise chair was delivered to work my shoulder and a nurse, an occupational therapist and a physical therapist visited to see what services I needed. I graduated to physical therapy at Dr. Toman’s office. His therapists are excellent. I can’t thank them enough for all the recovery I have made.

I highly recommend Dr. Toman to anyone who needs orthopedic surgery.
He is a gifted surgeon with a well thought out plan for your aftercare. His office people are very easy to work with and very competent. What more can you ask for?
