BARWIS Physical Therapy

I have had seven different surgeries in my life, and BARWIS was by far the best physical therapy I’ve had. I tried a few weeks at Select, but I realized I needed more attention during my workouts and BARWIS gave me that. From their friendly staff to their state of the art facility, the experience was nothing short of amazing. Joe Fiorelli helped me rehab both my hip and shoulder. After 6 months there, he had me feeling even stronger than I was before the surgeries. He’s a smart guy and knows exactly how to treat every pain point you’re feeling. If you’re looking to stay active and really care about your body, BARWIS is the place for you.

My time at Barwis has truly been a potentially life changing experience. I’ve had shoulder and knee pain for most of my adult life. One morning I woke up and couldn’t even lift my arm over my head. A friend of mine recommended that I go check out Barwis.

I set up an appointment to go visit Kelly for a physical therapy evaluation on my shoulder. She diagnosed the problem and came up with a plan on how to get me back to normal. After just 1.5 months of going to therapy (3 days per week), my shoulder was back to normal and felt stronger than it probably ever has.

I was so pleased with the shoulder therapy that I decided to stick around and work on knee weakness/instability issues that I’ve been having. I had torn my left knee meniscus twice in the past so it’s been an ongoing issue for most of my adult life. I’m happy to say that both of my knees are feeling better now than they probably have in over 20 years.

I can’t recommend Kelly and Barwis enough – it is an awesome facility for both therapy and training.

Their physical therapy team, particularly Joe Fiorelli, is outstanding. He creates a customized approach and works with you at every session (and doesn’t hand you off to a less-experienced person). He is patient and knowledgeable about the human body and about injuries. The facilities are amazing, too.

The physical therapy at Barwis was a game changer for my recovery. They knew unique ways to build muscle and the results that I saw were amazing. I’m thankful to Kelly and Joe for getting my leg to where it needs to be!

Physical therapy at Barwis is awesome. I’ve had the pleasure to get physical therapy done by both Kelly and Joe. They both are great at understanding your pain and will do what ever it to get what is injured healed and stronger.They also adjust your exercises to your pain scale and ability for safe and productive healing. With all the injuries I have encountered, my recovery time was always ahead of schedule doing physical therapy at Barwis.
