Great deal dont listen to the haters out there! I was very satisfied with everything just got back from my trip. The booking and customer service was all so easy. I really dont see what everyone else was upset about. I’ll definitely use this company many times.

I have received more than I count sales calls telling me that I prepaid for a trip and have never taken over the past month. Had the same slurring of calls a few years ago. Not so. I have told them that and requested at least 4 times that I be removed from their sales call list as I am not, and never will be, a client of theirs. To date they have not done so. I think that they place numerous calls at the same time and the first one to answer the call, gets the ‘pitch’ and if you happen to pick up and they are already talking, they simply disconnect you. RUDE !!! Of course, most often their name does not show on my Caller ID or I wouldn’t bother picking up. The next time they call, I am going to report them because I am on the DNC list and they are in violation.

I do not recommend purchasing their packages. First the packages are to stay at resorts or hotels near a resort that you have to tour. The say it will be a 90 minute presentation, but you can rarely get out of these presentations under 2 and a half hours. You will be responsible for hotel taxes and any “prime time usage” fees. BUYER beware, the agency is closed on weekends so if there are any issues upon arrival or departure on a weekend you cannot contact the agency. I am in my 3rd week of an unresolved dispute, yet I have had 3 “sales” calls. After this is resolved I will ask them to loose my number, but wanted to warn any potential clients they are calling.

This business is, as I understand it, essentially a mill designed to get people into resorts around the country so they can up-sell you on more vacations or timeshares. I wound up spending about $300 for a hotel package in Florida combined with a several-night cruise from California, but it expired before I could take either trip. It was unclear to me when the packages were to expire, but I’m positive they told me I had 18 months to use them but that 18 months had not transpired. I’m a commercial attorney and had a hard time understanding all of their promotions and rules.
After my first packages expired, Travel Options called several times a day, but whenever I would pick up the phone, the line was dead. Eventually, after two weeks of constantly being called, I finally picked up and had a person offer me an “upgrade” to essentially the same vacations for another $400 out of pocket. When I told the salesperson I was willing to give up one of my trips if I could just apply the credit I had to the remaining trip, he immediately ended the conversation, informing me that my credit would be “wiped out” forever. So, in short, $300 down the toilet.
This may be a good deal if you know you can follow through on your vacation before it expires, but I have no way of knowing that. The pushy salespeople and the confusing nature of the transactions really just has me feeling ripped off. I’d recommend watching for deals online rather than enduring this hassle.
