A Time To Move

Our mother died. We had to get everything out of her apartment at the independent living facility. This was a challenge because all 3 sons lived in different part of the country. Also, COVID-19 restrictions.

Enter A Time to Move. They provided a very valuable service of sorting items for sale, donation, shipping to relatives and disposal. During a very sad time, they came to the rescue and took the burden away from us. Also, we got out of the apartment on time. In a way, the service partly paid for itself by saved rent, travel, labor and trucking.

What an amazing company giving an extraordinary service! I can’t say enough good things about this company! From our first meeting where Charmaine went through our place with precision and detailed questions throughout and ending with our move, Robin, Charmaine and crew were the best organizers and ahead of any problems which could possibly get in our way of a smooth pack up, transition and move.

They did this fantastic service while we sat thousands of miles away during this precarious time of Covid-19. Everything worked like a charm.

Problems arose, a seller who refused to leave after settlement, Roofer’s beginning their tasks and blocking driveways on our original move date, a house that hadn’t been cleaned in 40 years, a building requiring reservations for an elevator while the office was closed… and much more!

But these issues were no match for Robin and company. They single handedly and rather calmly tackled each task with professional leadership and great tact. Our precious belongings arrived on time and safe. My old place swept clean and my new place in as could shape as possible.

What can I say but if you’re looking for a company to assist you in downsizing, packing up, moving and unpacking, and any other services A Time To Move offers… you’d be crazy not to use them. Their service is worth their weight in gold.

Absolutely the best company for packing, moving or anything you need to relocate yourself or your parents. They are kind, patient, detail oriented, careful, compassionate and super capable. Their communication is clear so no surprises. They also have many resources to make any move go smoothly. Recommend without reservation.
