Blazing Star Preserve

Cool little walking trail or trail bike ride. The path is a medium to soft sand. So it does offer a little extra challenge riding a bike. You can get here by car, bike or walking. Did not see any animals but bet there are some at different times.

Took the time to “stop and smell the roses” though no roses were anywhere on the property 😉. It was a nice walk, on a sandy path through some natural Florida scrub. Saw a rabbit, but no tortoise (which was prominently advertised at the entrance). Took a couple of pictures of some angular branches (out-of-the-norm). Nice park; will return.

Trails are short but a good workout due to sugar sand

Great representation of a beautiful Florida environment. Great trails and even saw some cool tortuosus. Highly recommend.

Small little neighborhood nature preserve butted up against the side of the interstate highway. Lots of traffic noise but if you can get past that as I did it has a quaint little trail.
