I would like to start by stating that I have never written a negative review. However, events transpired today that have forced me to write about my experience at Deborah James in Fort Lauderdale location. In March of this year, I bought a dress for my stepdaughter wedding in November.
I realize it was a bit early, but I felt I had found the perfect dress and did not want to miss the opportunity (the dress was above $800).
Yesterday, when I got the dress from my closet for the first time, I noticed that the silk was tearing. This dress has NEVER been worm. I went to the store and explain what happen. I was told there was nothing they could do, except give me a $50 coupon.
This is unacceptable as it does not come even remotely close to the value of the dress and the vendor should assume some responsibility over the quality of its product.
I want to share my customer service experience.

I visited Deborah James’ women’s clothing boutique in Boca. It was my first time shopping in Boca Raton, as I live in Aventura. I really enjoyed my experience and I love the outfit I purchased. Can’t wait to wear it out. I will definitely be back. Out of all the boutiques I visited that day, they were by far the best! Thanks ladies.
