Delray Sands Resort

A bit pricey, small boutique style hotel. Phenomenal Service, EXCEPT for the two older gentlemen who man the beach Cabana area… they are rude, inappropriate and they made me extremely uncomfortable. They also left the cabana area a disaster daily. It was unsightly to be looking out at the beach from our balcony with furniture just tossed it piles everwhere. I also wish the front desk was better trained, they seem to never have the answers to questions and aren’t very helpful, welcoming, or accommodating… it’s very strange for the hospitality industry. The rest of the staff was exceptional. The hotel just really seems to be lacking training and consistency. The kids who hand out the towels were very helpful as was the restaurant staff and the valet was top notch! Overall I’d give it 2-3 stars if it wasn’t for the view/location.

Our room was a double room with a king size bed, kind of classic in style, with the studded headboard and giant bolster cushion. It was luxurious, without being over the top or loud. There was plenty of natural light streaming in through the patio doors, which led out onto the balcony, giving us a panoramic view over the pool.

Breakfast was excellent! Had a partial ocean view room with a balcony. View was of the pool and ocean behind very nice. Pool area was great with a nice hot tube with a water fall. Private beach access perfect for watching the sunrise. Only small issues were the noisy people down at the outdoor bar late at night and the smoking neighbor even though it’s a smoke free hotel. Other then that the place was so relaxing and enjoyable!

Meals at Delray Sands resort don’t disappoint! Lunch visits are welcome, with valet service required during this time. The mahi sandwich is a great go-to and reasonably priced for the portion. Varying places to sit and enjoy your meal, whether it’s inside, under the balcony, or even poolside or along the water when enjoying great weather. Waiters are very attentive and even more personable. Stand-alone bar near the pool deck. And a great view of the shoreline! A very clean beach, with plenty of seating for enjoying it.

We went for a one night getaway. Clean and safe. Ate outside at Latitudes and stayed in a beachfront room. Room was so nice and we had a wonderful stay. Everyone was extremely accommodating and we would go back!
