She is ALL about her money. Over bills!!! Spent $50,000 and nothing to show for it. I have been making payments but it’s not the amounts she wants. IT IS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!!!!!! Just a few emails on the situation. I paid her over $7000 in August!
Please see emails from the attorney below, definably about the money.
You have some nerve. I am all about the money when I let this bill run up and still did work for months? No judge will see it your way I assure you. I did not run up a bill. In fact my billing was as judicious and minimal as possible. If you identify billing entries you don’t agree with then speak up and say what they are. You have never stated that before and you have received every invoice. If you are right, or even if you are partially right, we always give the client, or former client in this case, the benefit of the doubt. If I don’t have an email from you with billing entries you disagree with and a payment from you of at least $5,000 by 10/15, I will take whatever steps I need to collect.

How much will the monthly payments be? You said you would be doing that and did not do so for 3 months. You were going to pay $2000 per month.

All: I would like to have a telephone call on your matter regarding the discovery. I think it’s best for us to talk it out.
However, I need to tell you that we are unable to continue working on your case until I receive payment for work done and your bill is made current. There is a large bill due through April and a lot of work was done in May. I need you to remit payment so we may continue as there is a lot of work still to be done and we are on strict deadlines which if they are not met will be detrimental to your case. You have not made a payment since January. The amounts due right now are $27,890 from the last invoice plus $4,591 through yesterday which equals .$32,482.20.
As soon as I receive payment we will schedule the call. We will go ahead with filing the objection to Scott’s company subpoena because it is due Monday but that is the last work we can do until we are paid in full.
Thank you.

This is an exceptional law firm where the folks: attorney’s, medicaid specialist, and paralegal are truly professional, responsive, courteous, very efficient, and friendly. When you call they answer promptly, if you leave a message or send an email they respond promptly. They have the answers to the questions we posed, and go out of their way to help and that’s why I traveled 248 miles to use them. They know the law, and they provide excellent services as well as outstanding referrals.

I was extremely pleased with the legal services provided by Lisa Rubin of Elder Law Associates. Lisa was not only highly efficient and knowledgeable but also courteous and professional. The firm worked quickly to transfer a deed and their efficiency put my mind at ease that it was done right. The David Hage family highly recommends Lisa Rubin and the Elder Law Associates Firm.
