Equinix MI3 Data Center

Not really what you’d expect from a colocation. Nothing like any colo I’ve been to and I’ve been in many. This isn’t a bad thing but security is lacking. I was able to walk in behind someone all the way to my racks. The Management company also has a way of squeezing more $out of you. They charge for keycard access to your rack, then charge another $75 for a separate card to actually enter the building. They do not offer metered PDUs but they also don’t charge for amperage. This would indicate they don’t measure it at the rack level. The positives are costs. In general they charge considerably less than most colo locations.
