I rarely review places, particularly after companies/colleges/people started paying people for reviews but I am making an exception, today, for the FAU Primary Care Practice in Boca Raton. I moved to Boca about four years ago and thankfully never needed a primary physician or a medical center to attend to until a few weeks ago. I came down with sinusitis followed by the flu. My insurance company, Anthem, sent me a huge list of all kinds of Dr’s doctors including doctors I did not need to see (not helpful) but I had no choice but to start calling because I felt terrible. After many calls and no replies I remembered hearing on the news about the FAU Primary Care Center and decided to reach out to them. I am soooo glad I did. First, the phone was answered by Fred (Frederick) and it turned out he was exactly what I needed, a friendly and caring voice with compassion for me and my feeling so terrible. Fred is knowledgeable and went out of his way to get me an appointment with Dr Ghazi as soon as possible. Not only that but Fred took it upon himself to deal with “Anthem” which was such a relief for me. My appointment was at 9:00 am and when I arrived at the office, Fred was waiting and continued with the upmost professionalism to get me registered in asap. To my surprise, it only got better, as the Nurse Esland was there to greet me and welcome me with open arms. Esland took her time asking me questions, is extremely nice, kind and compassionate just like Fred, I actually felt better and more at ease that I made the right decision contacting FAU’s Primary Care Center. Esland is knowledgeable and demonstrated absolute professionalism. Esland took me to my exam room and I was greeted by a happy, friendly and beautiful human being, Dr Nasreen Ghazi who immediately began to ask all the pertinent questions and proceed with the necessary exams to make a prognosis. I can’t tell you how relieved I felt that Dr Ghazi was treating me, she is understanding, patient, an encyclopedia of medical terminology and took her time to explaining everything happening to me clearly and effectively. What an amazing experience for me to be treated by a such a great group of people. Going to FAU PC is the best PC facility I have ever been to. When you are sick, you want to be taken care of and I have found my place to go to in the future if need be. To top things off, Fred and Dr Ghazi have kept up with my progress and have been there for me, assuring my prescriptions are ordered. They have gone above and beyond for me and I am grateful for them. All medical offices should take note and implement the same kind of service offered at FAU Primary Care Practice.
