First National Bank Coastal Community (FNBCC) -Boca Raton

I worked with Mary Coates at FNBCC over the course of September/October 2020 on a home refinance. I have worked with Mary in the past, and her work at FNBCC was consistent with my past experiences: she went above and beyond to make the process go smoothly and was responsive and accessible to answer any questions I had.

Great experience working with Colin and the FNBCC team! From application to closing, everything went smooth and we were kept in the loop all along the way. Colin went above and beyond to ensure we got the best rate possible. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a new mortgage or refi.

Finally closed the real estate transaction on 9/4/2020 with this bank! 1 month late! Originally was promised a 45 day closing scheduled for 8/3/2020. Multiple extensions were requested without any reason given. Appraisal & Survey were completed 3 weeks before a loan commitment was even issued? I requested but never received an explanation of these issues/delays from the loan officer Edward Godziszewski. Ed’s promised updates via text,email or phone were never received. No professional courtesy provided to his borrowers /buyers, sellers or the agent.

This created a lot of unnecessary doubt & aggravation for both the buyers and sellers. Absolutely the worst lender experience in my 21 years as a Real Estate agent. I reached out by phone twice to Moyle Fritz for assistance. I asked him for information from his loan officer regarding the loan status. It was a waste of time. The first time he never returned my call and the second time we spoke he directed me to talk to the buyers about the loan issues. The issues should be explained by the loan officer processing the loan.

I really wish that I could have provided a positive review but I felt that the public should know what to expect if you go through this bank to obtain a loan. Good luck.

Great business bank with a family attitude. They offer local and creative financing to best accommodate your needs. Everyone there knows my name and is very friendly and kind. I enjoy doing business with these folks!

FNBCC is my preferred bank. Their complete staff are very experienced, professional, friendly and personable. They are working and olace the customers first. I appreciate doing business with this bank and their team!
