I just signed up with this company within one month I receive a cancellation notice letter stating I must replace my Hot Water Heater or they will cancel me. (Mind you I have never had any claims. My Hot Water Heater works perfectly). So when speaking to their Underwriter she said, yes you must replace it. I told her: First, the Water Heater works perfectly, Second, company is not covering my hot water heat so I don’t understand why you should dictate to me to replace a perfectly working heater?
I asked her are you covering the heater she answered “NO”. SO I SAID I DON’T UNDERSTAND?? She responded you need to replace it or you will be cancelled. Please let me understand what just happened???

I recently worked through a claim for a water/mold event with Florida Peninsula and I was pleased with their responsiveness, professionalism and care for me as a customer. Florida Peninsula is a great Company to work with. I was very impressed with how quickly they expedited my Claim, even during the short work weeks during the Christmas Holidays. They are definitely an Insurance Company you want to consider when looking for Homeowners Insurance! Fast, Honest and Dependable!!!

This company is as good as it gets as far as home owners insurance goes. When we start a claim as “insured” we think oh ….. I hate this. Florida Peninsula took that experience and every employee was unbiased, helpful, professional, but above all knowledgeable in their job description.

Warning to all though watch roofing contractors those wolves are running around looking for sheep. The oral contract used to mean something. Now a man’s word is. His choice how others see them.

First, the State of Florida has allowed Homeowners Insurance Companies to raise their rates…AND THEY ALL DID, A LOT!! We had a new roof installed last year just to keep our homeowners rate down. Just checked our new premium…increased over $1,500. So sad, never even filed a claim with them. The only choice you have is to raise the deductibles!
