As a photographer myself I’m very picky when it comes to choosing the right artist for my family. I look for someone who can capture personality and real candid moments. We worked with Julia many times and she always delivered amazing galleries. Kids love her, she knows how to use light to make moment even more magical. You will not regret booking her and will get priceless memories. I moved to another state and have been sending all my clients to Julia because I trust that she will make them happy.

My experience with Julia was mixed, and not what I expected based on previous reviews. First of all, I must say that I am pleased with our family photo and that was my only goal of the photo session: one family photo. I was disappointed that Julia was unfamiliar with the shoot location (didn’t even take the time to scope it out 15 minutes ahead) and kept dragging our group of seven from spot to spot. The first spot she took us was through some thorn bushes, so I ended up with a snagged dress and a bleeding leg. Although I filled out a form provided by her ahead of time, she repeatedly ignored my instructions: all I wanted was a group shot. She kept suggesting we break off in couples, or taking a few of the child alone. It took a lot of effort to get everyone in one place at a time and to keep a one-year-old happy. I feel she should have acted much more professionally considering the price she charged. Would I hire her again? Absolutely not.

Julia is most professional and talented photographer I know. Absolutely amazing experience with maternity and newborn/family photo shoot. She was very patient and knew how to work and come down our crying new born. Don’t need to say anything about pictures, they are gorgeous! I’m in love with Julia and her work, I recommend her to all my friends and family!

I wanted to write a second review because I’ve loved working with Julia that much!! But it seems I can only edit my first? So I just want to say if you’re thinking about working with Julia, do it!!

She’s AMAZING. Hands down. We first worked with her when my daughter was born for her newborn pictures. I have nothing but great things to say. She’s flexible, accommodating, and her work speaks for itself. Simply gorgeous. We just did another milestone session with her, and beforehand I was a little nervous because I truly loved my daughters newborn shots so much that I had no idea if these new pictures would be as good as the first. How she works with newborns and toddlers and gets the pictures she does is beyond me. Truly incredible. Not only that, but somehow she’s always able to capture exactly what my hope and “vision” was for the session. Which is amazing given the limited descriptions I’m able to come up with. Bottom line – Julia is a pro!

Did my maternity and newborn shoot for my son in this studio and was very pleased. Julia is very professional and creative photographer that uses unique backgrounds and props, that definitely sets her apart from others. Julia made me feel very comfortable during my maternity shoot and had great patience with my newborn son. Her love for children is obvious and it reveals beautifully in her work! Will highly recommend and come back again!!!
