Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa

I cannot believe how this kind of business can charge a membership on a card that we used in the past. Where is the security of our cc information and then they charge you a member ship even you did not want. I spoke with a manager, Katy, promising a solution but I never received a call from her. Today I spoke with Aina and she told me that they can charge because they have all the credit cards on file. So what it means, that even you do not want a service you will charge no matter what… Is this legal????

Terrible place. I signed up for the 59.95 monthly massage program. After a few months, all but one of the therapists that were there when I started left! The last massage I had there was the worst massage I had ever had. I tried telling the girl a little more pressure, etc, but apparently she had no training. Couldn’t wait for it to be over.
The worst part is when I tried to cancel, they have an intentionally difficult cancellation policy, and charged me 59.95 more. No additional massage, just a fee to cancel.
Considering the unethical business practices, along with the fact that the high turnover of employees would indicate that it is a terrible place to work, I can’t see this place around for long. I’ll stick to locally owned businesses, and not a (shady) chain.

I’ve been so stressed and this was a perfect escape. The front desk staff was very welcoming. The spa is clean and uses appropriate safety measures. My massage was amazing and my facial fave me a glow I hadn’t seen on myself in a while. I don’t know why I didn’t start this earlier but I will definitely make this part of my regular routine. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

These five stars are for Autumn. She was incredibly polite and understanding. I had a medical emergency and she worked extremely quickly to issue me a refund. Thanks again Autumn!

When I checked in I told the girl I was from out of state… she offered me a special promotion of discounted massage package for $200. she was very insistent, so I finally relented. I had bought gift cards at my local H & S and given them as gifts…After running my credit card she handed me the folder with the gift cards enclosed, and only THEN did I realize that the cards could ONLY be used at that specific location. not only could i not use them but I couldn’t give them as gifts to my friends in TX, OH and SC. I asked for a refund , which was declined. According to the owner, I should have read the fine print… Which of course I couldn’t have, because the stipulations were only given to me after I paid. I have never had this happen in other H & S… the gift cars were always good at any H & S.
SO Merry Christmas to me, I lost $200, and you WONDER why I would give this particular location ZERO stars. the massage was just mediocre, too.
