Well, I should have taken pictures but forgot. Fine place to rest your head. Needs an overhaul as the decor is dated and bathrooms, dirty and in need of repair. Lots of mold around the shower and such. Price was good but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Not as nice as other Holiday Inns, but o.k. Front desk girl told my husband there was no breakfast and no places nearby to eat. Then he saw people with food and found out you could get breakfast coupons for $5 at the front desk and eat at their own restaurant. Why didn’t she tell him that when he asked????

Do not book here!!!
I booked through a third party and they charged me extra fees and then checking in they gave me a 50$ fee. I don’t have enough because I wasn’t even aware that they would charge me an extra 48.98 they told me a set price over the phone. The lady at the front desk said she couldn’t help me. I’ve worked at hotels before 4/5 star hotels and I know they can waive the fee as a courtesy since I didn’t know they would charge me more than the agreed upon price. I told the lady as wee that the third party they work with kept transferring and then putting me on hold. So I am stuck here not able to even check into a room that has been paid for. All because I don’t have the 50$. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a hotel.
It won’t allow me to respond to the owner but if that was true and you do want to make it right I should have gotten a refund. A response to my review does not fix what has happened.

(12/26/20 – 12/28/20 stay) After checking in and getting my room key, I went to my room. First thing I always check is the bed. I pulled the covers back and there were several strands of hair. I went back down to the front desk and the person at the front apologized and gave me another room. When checking the bed in the second room, I again found hair strands and a yellowish stain. I wanted to leave,l at this point, but I was already here so I went back to the front to get another room. Finally, the bed in the third was was clean. Room was overall was nice. The hotel itself, seems a bit outdated with cracking paint. Customer service was good, but wouldn’t stay here again.

We stayed here last week with their stay and cruise package, which included parking for our car while we were on a 7 day cruise. The customer service at this hotel is exceptional! They were so friendly and accommodating from the minute we checked in. The hotel itself is older but super updated and clean!! I wish we were staying longer so we could enjoy the pool (which was huge) and the cabanas. The lighting and cool vibe at night looked so inviting and relaxing.
The bed was super comfortable although they are smaller beds. The room itself was big (we had two double beds on the first floor outside of the pool). The bathroom was super nice but it does not get good air flow with the AC, however there is a window in there which was nice.
There was a mix up with our shuttle picking us up from the cruise terminal. We had called to inform the hotel we were ready to be picked up and they had said they would I be there in 20 or 25 minutes. About 10 minutes later, As we were making our way to the location they had said they would pick us up, I guess they had arrived and tried to call me but my phone was in my pocket and I didn’t hear it ringing. When my husband called about 30 minutes later they informed us it would take an hour to pick us up as they were transporting other guests back and forth. Because if that, they told us to get a taxi and they would pay for the ride back. They did not need to do that as it was my fault that I missed their call, therefore missing our shuttle. That right there is excellent customer service and since I belong to various social media groups where people are always asking where to stay in Long Beach before their cruise, you can believe I will be referring them to Hotel Current!
