My experience is similar to most of the 1 and 2 star experiences. The practitioners are good, the office managers and staff are highly problematic.
The doctors have patience and seemed well-educated. That being said, who wants to go to a psychological office that only causes more grief? They watch the clock like hawks and overall office staff cares much more about money than the patient’s health. I waited over 2 months to get an appointment here, NOT WORTH.
PLEASE! For your own sake, DO NOT attempt to use their services. This has been a living nightmare. The lack of internal communication in this office is just unacceptable. Doctors won’t show up to the appointments and they will say it’s a proxy issue, Dr. Torrientes lack of organization is the worst. I really thought that the bad reviews were not real, but I can attest it has been the most pitiful service. I will reach out to my insurance and let them know about this and I will reach out to the proper authorities. This is an act of negligence and you can’t play with the well being of your patients like that.
I want to start by saying that Dr. Torriente is amazing and genuinely wants to help me in my goal of reducing anxiety while getting off heavy medication. However, I have had two different doctors leave the practice without telling me and waited weeks and weeks for them to be replaced. Still actually waiting for my therapist to be replaced. The funny part was that once my psychiatrist was replaced, the new one denied my case and didn’t tell until what was supposed to be our first appointment.
There should be a 0 star. I called in as a new patient over 8 days ago. I was told that a Dr. would reach out within 24-48 hours. Not only did I not receive a single call, but I had to follow up 3 times! When I called to let them know that I found a different Dr. and to not have a Dr. call, they were so care-free about it. This place is a joke and I haven’t even been there! You’d think they would want to take new patient but they clearly do not care! Don’t waste your time.
