Lynn has set itself an extremely low standard which it has failed to maintain. The academics are a joke and the students tend to be wealthy and self obsessed from the northeast. You’ll graduate with an almost unmarketable degree and with few if any life long connections to the place.

This is an absolute joke of a university. The academics, housing, food, and social life are all subpar and not worth the exorbitantly expensive tuition. During my time at Lynn University I was enrolled in classes that were the equivalent of a sixth grader’s. The classes do not prepare you for anything after college. Furthermore, the credits DO NOT TRANSFER to most universities, even though Lynn has a 40% graduation rate, which is saying something because students STILL decide to leave and repeat their freshman year of school. Regarding housing, the dorms are in need of maintenance from the day you move in (ours had our window shades falling out of the ceiling, a sink that did not work, and an AC unit that caught fire). In the midst of the COVID pandemic, the school is refunding students for a portion of their housing tuition, but refuses to refund students that have chosen to transfer in the fall, about 60% of the school. If I could give less than one star I would, DO NOT WASTE 60K ON THIS ABSOLUTE MESS OF A SCHOOL.
p.s. no it isn’t worth it even if it is in florida DONT COME FOR THE WEATHER LOL

The Conservatory of Music at Lynn University is worth supporting by attendance at concerts and recitals and with your financial contributions. Well run programs giving over 25 concerts and recitals a year. If you love classical and chamber music, this is the place to go.

I loved visiting Lynn. Loved the campus, what it stands for and its diversity. For a small school, the course catalog and helpful resources are endless! Reading the negative reviews will not impact our decision to choose Lynn because all establishments have various opinions, which everyone is entitled to, but it sounds like those one star reviewers were not a good match for Lynn. It couldn’t have been all that bad since they chose to attend, right? No matter where you go to college, there will be bumps and roadblocks. Where you decide to go from there will be the determining factor. Good luck to the class of 2023.
