The worst place to ever take your elderly family to. The staff doesn’t care about the patients and they should all be fired. They take full advantage of the elderly and leave them in soiled diapers for 8 or more hours. It’s a free for all when the administration leaves for the day. I should have taken my loved one out sooner unfortunately he suffered a stroke and died 6 weeks later. Do your homework. DON’T send your loved on there EVER.

In January of 2019 my mother broke her hip and ended up in rehab at Regent’s Park Boca Raton unfortunately she also developed dementia and was unable to go home she ended up in the nursing home with the help of Scott in admissions. Her stay there has been nothing but the best. Even during these tough times that we’ve all had over the past year. I want say a special thanks to Brooke Nieto in customer service she has been excellent during this COVID- 19 crisis. She has gone above and beyond to accommodate myself and my sister. A special thanks to all the nurses and health care workers. Again thank you everybody especially Brooke.

Thanks

I recently visited my mother who’s been staying at Regents Boca Raton for well over a year. My review is based solely on the Covid19 visitations. This facility is following the states social distanced visitations by allowing family visits with booked 30 minute appointments in advance requiring a face shield and a KN95 mask. The problem lies in where there needs to be more flexibility with visit times to accommodate the family member/residents time schedule. Most available times weren’t convenient due to the fact my mother was napping or getting ready to eat lunch which limits my quality time with her since I have only 30 minutes. In addition, the facility doesn’t have an available indoor seating area to have visits which made it difficult since she is temperature sensitive to the recent cool outdoor temps. Most of my visits were outdoors, but for the unseasonal time or rain days there wasn’t an indoor covid visit seating area. Hopefully they’ll come up with a quick solution to that issue. Overall, Regents Boca Raton administration is meeting the states covid guidelines however they need to supersede that by offering better flexibility, indoor meeting spaces, and better controls with mask adherence with the resident patients. The administrator did follow up after this review and committed to working on all these issues. I appreciate her follow through with this review. I hope that better communication between the administration, staff and family members is developed to help stop the spread and exposure of Covid19 to the patient/residents for a safe nursing home environment.

If I could leave negative stars I certainly would! The care here is worse than anything you can imagine. The outer levels of the organization are not as bad, when you actually finally reach them. They certainly don’t call you back without being pressured. When you get to the people who are dealing directly with the patients they are nasty and uncaring and evasive. They tell you that they cannot speak to you when you are standing right in front of them. There is no organization no care plan no continuity no phone calls. Do not send your loved ones here!

I am not only family member but I grew up in the nursing home industry. My mother who is 97 years old and a resident at Regents Park and my late father own 4 nursing homes and rehab centers in New Jersey. I myself was administrator so I feel very qualified to recognize the safe and clean Environment that my mother is in. The amazing care that my mother is receiving through this crisis means the world to me and I have all the thanks to Scott Sexton and his amazing team !! What a team! Scott Sexton is known as Mr. everything which is truly true. There’s nothing that he doesn’t do for my family and the other families that are there . Without his help and the entire staff there at Regents Park nursing home, my mom would just be a Another patient. But I feel like she’s one of their family members from the way they treat and take care of her since day one. I can’t thank you enough.
