We are new to the area, and Siperstein was recommended by my son’s pediatrician. Unfortunately, the specific doctor recommended was not available for almost 2 months so we went with an available PA since we were really just needing a follow up visit or two after moving to town. Our first visit for treatment of my son’s plantar wart went fine. There was the usual pain from scraping, freezing, and treating the wart with topical medicine.

The next visit was pretty awful. My son’s wart had almost disappeared, and the skin around it was brand new and quite sensitive. Regardless, the PA decided it was a good idea to scrape once again, even though there was no dead skin, only new, pink, sensitive skin. This hurt my 11 year old son very badly and caused him to visibly recoil and almost start to cry (which he broke down doing after we were left alone in the room). The PA then changed demeanor completely. Instead of apologizing and being more gentle, she became hostile and confrontational. Then, when she finished the treatment she walked out of the room with hardly one more word.

I will never return to Siperstein dermatology for any reason, and if you are considering taking your child there, you should think twice.

Wonderful practice! Customer service was superb. Safety protocols in place to keep everyone safe. I had no wait to see my doctor and she was fantastic–addressed all my concerns and spent time explaining options. I will continue using this practice. It is an A#1 practice!

I had cool sculpture with Melanie. She was awesome! She told me what to expect and explained each part of the procedure thoroughly. She was very supportive throughout our time together. In addition, she cleaned and sterilized all surfaces. Melanie also made sure I was comfortable by offering well placed pillows for my back. Finally, Melanie was a delight to be with.
I am at post procedure one week and I can expect great results as the fat cells are killed. Can’t wait to see!
