I spent my childhood on This Beach before there was a bridge at Spanish River we used to swim across the intercoastal to go to the beach Spanish River Park was an afterthought for Boca Raton it took up a lot of area and not a lot of people get to go to it and enjoy what Spanish River Park has to offer I think they should change their rules at Spanish River Park in order to accommodate more people to enjoy the beautiful sites and things that Spanish River Park has to offer

Love this beach, especially at sunrise. Too bad the city ruined part of the experience by adding metered parking. Perhaps it was to mitigate abusers or those who trash beaches with junk (especially smokers).

This beach is OK but not the best beach on the east coast, Daytona is much better, the sand here is quite course and the beach is quite steep so walking any distance bare foot it difficult, we done just over 2 miles and that was enough, also watch out for rip tides if going in to the water
