Sushi Yama Asian Bistro

The food is delicious. I am really talking about sushi and rolls. Fresh and tasty.

I’ve been a long time customer. 2000s I’m 27 now. Left for Colorado and came back 12 years of no sushi Yama and when I come back. Well everything was perfect. Still had the tables you can sit on the floor. Miso soup warmed the soul. The colors and vibrancy inside was great. Eel roll was amazing as usual. Stay safe and well. Thanks for not changing too much!

The sushi there is always delicious. I particularly liked dipping my rolls in the gyōza sauce which gave them an extra umphhh.
The only thing that was a little disappointing was the amount of time we had to wait for our food.
I know it was the day before valentines but the place was not that busy and I saw groups who came after us who had already had 2 courses while we had not even had our baby’s meal (and we ordered that in advance cause she was hungry).
I can only assume our server had too many tables to look after or was a little behind?
I believe in second chances so we still tipped him generously and we’ll see what happens next time.

We ordered food here tonight. The food is generally very good but the wait for takeout is unacceptable. They said the food would be ready in 40 minutes. We went at the advised time and still waited a full hour for the food. I don’t understand how they are running a business this way. I would comment further on the food but we’re still waiting for it.
Got our food, which is really excellent. I guess the key is to not go on the weekend.

this place I give it three stars because the food is very good but they need to work on the service. the waitress took forever to even come to the table no greeting no water no nothing . I understand is a busy night but at least greet your customers and offer some water. the place is very nice and is very clean . The menu is very extensive so they offer a lot of varieties .
