Sylvan Learning of Boca Raton

I don’t know what I would have done without Sylvan. The tutors are all great!! Distance learning was easier with their help, that’s for sure.

Sylvan Learning Center of Boca Raton helped me achieve one of my dreams. Last year, as I began working on my college applications during the summer, I felt discouraged at my chances of admission. I decided to sign up for the Sylvan Learning Center SAT Prep Bootcamp. I worked with my tutors- Ms. Kathy and Ms. Mahfuza for two to three weeks on all the topics that I would encounter on test day. After my time with Sylvan, I had not only reinforced my SAT skills, but also felt confident enough to tackle the test. I was no longer discouraged; instead, I looked forward to succeeding on test day. Thanks to Sylvan, I exceeded my own expectations on the SAT. I was able to get into my dream school Early Decision, and I can’t thank Sylvan enough. I’m going to Dartmouth College this fall, a place I could only dream of attending a year ago. And a big part of this being possible for me is thanks to Sylvan. I am particularly thankful to the staff. Ms. Rachel for greeting me everyday when I walked into the center, Ms. Linda for being with me since the beginning when I took my diagnostic test, and my wonderful tutors, Ms. Kathy and Ms. Mahfuza. Their continuous help and encouragement was an integral part of my Sylvan experience. I highly recommend this tutoring center for anyone who is looking for reinforcement in their academic skills in an uplifting and engaging environment. Thank you Sylvan!!

My son has always found math and comprehension challenging. I always thought he would just catch up as he got older, but he only managed to fall further and further behind. When we arrived at Sylvan, we were desperate and discouraged. After taking the placement test we realized just how much help he really needed. We started the program right away. We were doing 4 days a week until the Covid shut everything down. Thankfully the team at Sylvan prioritized their students and set us up for virtual one on one learning. My son has done so well with this virtual program. I see his confidence growing and he is realizing that there is nothing wrong with him. He just has a different learning style. I am grateful that we came to Sylvan when we did. We are hopeful.

Within the first week of tutoring sessions, our daughter showed marked improvement with grades in the courses, in which she was struggling. After having to switch to virtual only sessions, she continues to demonstrate understanding of new materials. Friendly, tech savvy instructors helped the transition from in-person to virtual go smoothly.

My son was having great difficultly in school after moving here from another state. We had him tested; he scored 4 grades below where he should have been. We immediately signed him up for Sylvan, they put a plan together for him. He has consistently improved by leaps and bounds. He is more confident and his grades have went from C’s and D’s to A’s and B’s. We could not be more proud of him for putting in the hard work, we also thank the Sylvan staff and Rachel for their help. In less than a year he advanced 3 grade levels, absolutely amazing.
