The Capital Grille

We recently utilized the Capital Grille bar for a business meeting. The staff was friendly and efficient. The facility was what it always is: simple elegance. I did not dine this time, but their food is historically excellent for my taste and fairly priced. Their drink selection is well thought and consistent with the atmosphere. I had a Woodford Double-Oaked in this warm and welcoming location. It’s a go-to in uptown !!!

This is a long time favorite. Great steaks and lobster are my favorites here and their private dining room for special occasions. Fabulous service and exceptional wine selection.

This place is One of a Kind! It was our first time there, which happened to be our 27th Wedding Anniversary. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Awesome wines, food and service. Jack our server was extremely knowledgeable and made great recommendations.The attention and service we received from Jack was so amazing, that we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. Thank you Capital Grille, for making our Anniversary a little more special.

I visited Capital Grille with a friend on 2/6/21. Both my friend and I ordered the wedge salad with a slice of salmon requesting it blackened. It did not arrive blackened – although still palatable. Upon receiving our bill I noticed that we were both charged for the salmon meal which was $39- each, as well the wedge salad ($12-). I questioned the waiter and he stated they charge for the salmon meal although we only ordered a slice to go on top of the salad. $78 for two slices of salmon is ridiculous regardless of the restaurant. No effort whatsoever to work with us – the service was attentive however NOT mentioning up front that we would have been paying for the entire salmon meal was IMO negligible. I won’t return. Most restaurants offer slices of chicken and or salmon as a side for salads.

Always a great option for a nice evening.
