Competent and friendly service. The french toast dish with sausage and eggs was so well seasoned. My wife had the crabs Benedict with the City Grits. Seldom that the sides are the standout in a dish but those grits, from a city boy, were so full of flavor.

Two things: parking is tight as it is a busy shopping center and this place is observing distancing tightly, so there is a decent wait. We waited 20 minutes on a Thursday.

Added to my list.

After requesting a table on the patio, the hostess informed us that my friend’s mask was insufficient and that we could not be sat at a table if we did not have a proper mask. I pointed out that the cloth did cover their nose and mouth. She suggested that we go to CVS across the street and buy masks there. I looked around the restaurant and noticed no one was wearing a mask at a table, even people who were done eating. People who were walking to the bathrooms were not even wearing a mask and many of the staff had their masks below their noses. I pointed this out to her and no explanation nor solution was provided. In my opinion, this place takes their guests for granted and treats their guests as merely customers. They did not offer my friend a mask or to walk her around the front or give any explanation as to why the cloth was insufficient. During a time where small businesses are struggling, we chose to leave and spend our money elsewhere. Will not be back again.

Nice atmosphere. Waitress/ staff excellent. We had shrimp and grits. It was tasty but expected gulf shrimp these were tiny shrimp in a sauce. I was expecting nice size shrimp on top like other places I have been. But, it was tasty.

Very disappointed with this place, especially since I’ve been to the one in Tampa and Pembroke Pines and they’re great. I thought Boca would be better.

I ordered the coffee infused pancakes that are supposed to be drizzled in caramel and have strawberries and whip cream on top. Food took really long to get to the table even though the restaurant was relatively empty. When my food finally came, they were bare and burnt pancakes, no drizzle, strawberries, nothing. I asked for my proper order and they basically took the same pancakes and just threw the stuff on top, pancakes didn’t even taste like coffee.

My two friends ordered the banana foster french toast. One of the French toast orders was very sloppy and had cooked egg hanging off the side, while my other friend requested no whip cream and got whip cream anyways. She also asked for a side of potatoes and fruit instead of eggs and bacon. The fruit was not fresh and her potatoes were very brown and tasted like they were already cooked and had been thrown back in old oil to be heated again 🙂 Very sad.

My wife and I stopped by here for brunch and it was great! The menu had a good variety and the food tasted amazing. It’s a nice atmosphere to be in, I look forward to going back.
