Banfield Pet Hospital

This location was fantastic. The moment we walked in, everyone was beyond awesome. I came in with a concern with my dog. They treated her like a person. Everything was explained thoroughly and the doctor was patient with all my questions. I know each location can be different, but I completely recommend this location.

If I could give Banfield on Saint Andrews in Boca zero stars I would. I called 2 days ago and spoke with Megan about my dog not eating the way she had been and I had asked if Dr. Nestor could call me when he gets a chance. She said he was not in today but she was going to send a note to him and that I would get a call the next day which is today. I didn’t make an appointment since we were just seen 2 weeks ago. Still no call at 6pm and I get it because he’s been with patients today so I called and Megan answered again and said she would go talk to the doctor right now and have him call me back or herself with his advice. So she called me back 10 minutes later and she said she talked to the doctor and it’s best to schedule a drop off appointment which I did. Meanwhile I was very upset so I called another Banfield I had heard good things about and told them what was going on and right off the bat the girl I talked to on the phone was so sweet so I scheduled an appointment not a drop off right away. I kept calling the Boca location for about 20 minutes and no answer finally Megan answers again and I asked if Dr. Nestor could still call me and give me advice on what to do in the meantime and she said oh he leave for the night with an emergency. I told her to cancel my drop off appointment and I’m leaving your location and she said ok no problem like she has heard this before. This is not the first encounter I’ve had with Megan but I’m glad I won’t be back. Dr. Nestor is great and so is Dr. Groden but the staff is terrible.

I have been hesitant to try a new vet, but the care plan had me sold! My sweet pup is getting older and I wanted to make sure she will have the best care! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Dr. Samuel called me and was very friendly and helpful explaining everything going on with my pup. They are taking all precautions seriously regarding covid. Happy to know my pet has a great new vet in the area. Thank you, Banfield!

Megan at the front desk is amazing, after being treated VERY poorly by another Banfield location I called this one (which is our regular) and they did everything and more in their power to help correct the situation including an emergency appointment. We and our young kitten are very grateful! Thank you Megan and Banfield Boca.
