Do Not rent here is you don’t want to get an apartment with roaches. This place will treat you professional in the beginning but after they actually get you to sign the lease they will treat you very unfair. I was a resident there and during my lease I received violations for my car being too big for the parking spot when I had an normal SUV. Then they tried to tell me that that spot was for a compact car when nowhere in the lease said that. I asked them to trim the bushes so my car won’t get scratched and the response was” you should learn how to back in park “ We moved out with notice and then I find out I was sent to collections with a weird amount. I tried calling but the guy in the office who’s name is Scott won’t talk to me just because I’m Hispanic. It is funny how he seems to follow the rules when he was allowing his dog in the pool ( that I took video). Multiple apartments have oversized pets but we since were told that 25 pounds was the maximum.

It takes them sometimes days to fix an issue (like my AC unit – and I live on the top floor), they don’t even know when their own building maintenance is happening (roof work started at 7:30 a.m. and when i called mgmt stated they were still working on permitting – they didn’t even know the work had started!), and sometimes they ignore issues altogether (I’ve had mold in my guest bathroom since the day I moved in – 3 years ago!).

Do not rent from Blue Ribbon Apartments or Steve Bader. They are a greedy, money hungry slumlord company. You will wait forever for help with maintenance and you will also never see your security deposit again. $1800 stolen from me because of minor wear and tear things like a single blind broken and a wrong size air conditioning filter! Lol

**EDIT** in response to company’s reply below: yes there were blinds broken, which most would consider minor wear and tear and also you could notice dog chew marks which would mean it should be covered by the non-refundable pet deposit I paid. The shattered closet door is really the only serious damage. The smoke detectors were stored in the kitchen cabinet because they didn’t work properly and your company never replaced them, which is legally your responsibility. The whole in the wall due to a broken cable outlet was there when I moved in. Repainting the apartment after a tenant leaves is also your legal responsibility in the state of Florida. And the only time I did not change the air filter was the last month I lived there because the entire two years I lived there your maintenance crew would drop off the air filters and all of a sudden you told me that was something you never did lol

Very nice in the beginning. They try to be helpful. After you pay you hear nothing. Text many times still trying. Now I have to figure out how to get my money back
