Boca Christian works diligently to maintain a caring and encouraging environment on campus for every student in every grade. Faculty members monitor student interactions daily in the classroom, lunch room, and on the playground. There are many ways a student and/or parents can report difficult relationships and ask for help. Our counselors and administrators provide individual and family interventions for students who are struggling with their own or others behavior. Middle school students meet weekly with a faculty advisor in small groups designed to allow open communication and offer mutual support from peers and the advisor. High school has a peer support outreach group focused on encouragement and inclusivity. Through parent workshops, parent teacher conferences, special topics in chapel, Bible classes, and school themes, we work proactively to provide a school climate that reflects Ephesians 4:29, “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouth, but only what is helpful to building others up according to their needs that it may benefit those who listen.” Ultimately we seek to foster a partnership between home and school in which students feel safe in reporting and working on any ongoing issues.

According to all known laws
of aviation,

there is no way a bee
should be able to fly.

Its wings are too small to get
its fat little body off the ground.

The bee, of course, flies anyway

because bees don’t care
what humans think is impossible.

Yellow, black. Yellow, black.
Yellow, black. Yellow, black.

Ooh, black and yellow!
Let’s shake it up a little.

Barry! Breakfast is ready!

Ooming!

Hang on a second.

Hello?

– Barry?
– Adam?

– Oan you believe this is happening?
– I can’t. I’ll pick you up.

Looking sharp.

Use the stairs. Your father
paid good money for those.

Sorry. I’m excited.

Here’s the graduate.
We’re very proud of you, son.

A perfect report card, all B’s.

Very proud.

Ma! I got a thing going here.

– You got lint on your fuzz.
– Ow! That’s me!

– Wave to us! We’ll be in row 118,000.
– Bye!

Barry, I told you,
stop flying in the house!

This school has been a part of my family’s history for over 40 years. The teachers and administrators on staff are 100% committed to developing students ability to process an ever changing world so that they can find the solutions to the world’s future issues with business, environment, government, religion, and relationships.

I’ve heard countless stories of how teachers maintain friendships with students even after they graduate so that they can continue to pour into them above and beyond what a teacher is expected!

The Spirit of God is present in this school from the students all the way to the principal. I hope you will consider it as the place to send your children!

This was the perfect school for me. It felt like family from the moment I came for a visit in 8th grade until I graduated from high school. Teachers care about the students and the size of the school lets teachers and administrators know each student personally. There are lots of extra curricular opportunities and I was well prepared for college.

Regarding a comment about lightening safety at Boca Christian, the school has 4 lightening detectors that are continuously monitored by staff during every school day and during outdoor sports. In addition, there is a large city lightening detector at the SE edge of the school. The well being of students is of utmost importance to Dr. Tennies, who has dedicated his life to the academic and spiritual growth of students at Boca Christian.
