Recently had to put our dog of 18 years down. They were so understanding and compassionate. They definitely made the worse day of my life a little easier. The negative reviews about price if you go to an emergency vet and don’t think your going to pay more for it you are crazy.

Will definitely take my pet back here if need be!!! Cheapest services around!! ESPECIALLY on a weekend evening. Not only were they the cheapest, but also the nicest!! They have called me twice to check up on my pup after her surgery. They have answered all of my questions without hesitation. They explained everything so thoroughly and easily. Took away A LOT of my worry. I love this place and would recommend them to anyone!!!!

I take my VERY DIFFICULT cat, Sparky, to Dr. Sookhoo and she has always been so very kind, thoughtful and professional. Sparky has a few problems, so it’s comforting to have someone like Dr. Sookhoo caring for him. Plus, she is pleasant and very easy to deal with. Her assistant, Emilie, is also very helpful and kind.

The staff at Calusa took such wonderful care of my babies when they got into a tussle with a raccoon last night. They were kind, swift, knowledgeable, and so good with our girls (who usually don’t do well with strangers.) Our dogs are well taken care of and will be ok, thanks to the hard work the staff did to quickly make sure they got what they needed. We hope we never have reason to go back to the emergency vet, but God forbid we do, we will choose Calusa every time. Thank you from Molly, Billie, Juju, and Leia!

The doctors and nurses at Calusa Veterinary Hospital were so kind to my Mom when we had the unfortunate news of her dog’s failing health and ultimate need for euthanasia. They walked us thru every step and were professional and empathetic. They allowed her time to grieve, and were so helpful. I highly recommend! Thank you!
