Cornell Cafe at Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens

The classic bento box and sesame balls were very good

Great traditional Japanese food and a great location as well. Eating inside the Morikami museum is very pleasant

They did so, so well with their beautiful space keeping it open and socially distanced. $1 for fish food kept the kiddo engaged the whole walk. Very beautiful and peaceful and felt safe the whole time.

At first I was upset because a meal for 4 cost us almost $100 but once we got our food we were very happy. We all got bento boxes, which have a little bit of everything from the menu. The food was so good. Perfectly seasoned and cooked, good quantity. We were so full from the one box. The employees were pretty nice too.

Last time I was there for my anniversary we had terrible service. We were mostly ignored by the staff and it wasn’t that busy. I’m also 90% sure they stole my credit card information. Woke up the next day to $200+ of fraudulent gasoline charges on the card I used here, all made at gas stations nearby the museum. I don’t live by the museum, and this was the only transaction I made on that card in the area… pretty suspicious. Took me 5 months to get that sorted out. Museum is beautiful, stay away from the Café.
