Dr. Bocksel

I’ve been coming to Dr Bocksell since we moved to Boca Raton. He’s very capable, relaxing and honest. They don’t get any better.

Blessed to have been recommended to see Dr Bocksel by a relative.
No up sells. Just quality professional personable artful care.
So, I went originally just to get a second opinion. My other dentist recommended the tooth be extracted and suggested the whole implant procedure.
Dr. Bocksel gave me 3 options including cleaning up the decay and re-cementing the existing crown (which had fallen off the day before my visit).
He also said if the tooth was bothering me (which it wasn’t) I could just have it extracted. He explained since it was a rear molar with no other tooth behind it, I might just wait and see about doing the implant.
So, to be fair, the xrays revealed the tooth had some serious problems. But extracting the tooth wasn’t the only option.
Additionally, I may at some point have issues with this tooth / crown in the future and then it may need to be extracted; maybe.
So glad I decided to get a second opinion and I believe not every dentist (probably very few) would have given me all the options.
