Is there a way to give ZERO stars? Let me start by saying that this has been the worst loan process I have ever been through. There was incompetence on all levels and I will never be going through Flagstar for anything ever again. Fist the loan officer should be fired. He asked me for paperwork that I have given him already multiple times. I remember one time he asked for one piece of paperwork 3 times in one hour. As I kept giving it to him he kept saying he can’t find it and to send the right paperwork. He should have asked where the information he was looking for was on the paperwork. I ended up having to call him. I called 4 times in a row because not once did he ever call me back when I left a message. And when he did finally answer his head set does not work and I could not understand him. I was also very frustrated with him at this point since throughout the process he kept telling me he does not need any more paperwork but was always come back asking for more. I think he told me we were done around 5 times. At one point I asked for his supervisor but loan officer refused to give me his supervisors name or number. If you would like I can send you all the emails that me and loan officer have had and you can see that not one of my questions were ever answered. But anyway, as I was frustrated and also not able to understand him I got a little angry to which he told me he was going to hang up on me. I’m sorry but it’s hard dealing with someone who cannot get his paperwork straight. Once I was approved which took 2.5 months I was told to get documents for the title company from the business. I gave them the documents and then 2 weeks later I asked Brian what is taking so long. Cause of course there is no communication. He then tells me I was supposed to be contacted on by someone from the title company on 12/30 for the operating agreement. This was on 1/4 that I found this out. 1) why wasn’t I asked for this in the first place and 2) why was I not contacted. So I get him the operating agreement. We set a date to sign on 1/11 but guess what an hour and half before signing the notary calls me and tells me there are problems with the deed and we need to reschedule. Knowing nobody at flagstar is going to contact me I email Brian (cause god knows I will never call that guy). I rescheduled for 1/15 which I believe is over 3 months after I started the loan process. One more thing my rate was also increased without being informed right when my loan was approved. No message or any communication from flagstar. It went from 3.375% to 3.559%. I find this to be very unprofessional and shady. I have reported the bank to the federal reserve for this. There is much more but I am tired of writing right now. Just know DO NOT USE THIS BANK!!!!

I am HIGHLY disappointed with this company. I have been dealing with their loss claims department and there is NO sense of urgency. It’s been 7 months trying to get my claim check with water damage done to my home. There is a severe lack of communication skills, professionalism, and timeliness. All of these employees need more training. I do not recommend this company to anyone, they have been a NIGHTMARE to deal with. BEWARE!

Im very sorry I had consider this bank to serve my mortgage needs. Support is none. loan officer would not returned calls or emails. The only assistance I received was from the loan processor and that’s it. I would not recommend this bank to anyone.

This is by far one of the most disorganized, unprofessional banks i have ever dealt with. I truly consider them thieves. A bank like this should be reviewed and investigated. No matter how many times you sent them paperwork they act like they never received it and take the money out of your escrow. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE UNITED STATES. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU CHANGE BANKS IMMIDIATELY.

The worst customer client experience! I am trying to refinance my current loan w/ Flagstar Bank for almost 3 months. The loan officer and loan processor don’t not reply emails, calls and inbox messages in their loan website. Also, they ask for documents that I already provided. It has been a nightmare. I am at the point of moving to another loan company. Being a current or new customer it does not matter because you are just one more number. I don’t recommend this company.
