Had a great haircut from Brittany

Worst cut of my life from one specific lady there, I had to literally go somewhere else to correct it.

This is to file a complaint on haircut service, performed on my 7 yr old son on 07/15/2020 by the hairdresser/barber Beth at 1367 W.Palmetto Pk.Rd, in East Boca Raton, Fl. We are good customers of that location and never had any problems with either of service personel. But on July,16,2020, smth went wrong with “stylyst” by the name Beth,who was the only one working that day at that locatio. We walked-in to the salon with nobody in there. 5 minutes later that barber/hairdresser showed-up from outside. She did not listen or payed attention to the styling we asked her to perform, the one that we normally got with other barbers and was absolutely ignoring my requests on the style of my son’s haircut. We always had the same “navy cut” style done by other guys at that location. To my total shock and surprise, Beth just used the clipper on my son’s hair starting from the forehead, all the way, to the back of his head, leaving a gash in the front! Instead of starting clipping hair from the back, as the ‘Navy cut” style suggests and is normally done, and not touching the front. I tried to ask her to stop clipping the hair from the front, but she was ignoring my requests, not listening to me. After I told her that she had ruined my son’s hair style and she realised it, she got mad at us not even finishing her job and told us to leave, threatening to call the police on us, for unknown reason. Obviously, there was something wrong with that lady, that morning? But it does not excuse her from rude, unproffesional and totally unexceptable behaviour, in front of my children, who were absolutely shocked with her action. I think that such an unprofessional and totally unexceptable behaviour of the service personal of that salon, puts a dark shaddow on the entire Great Clips business reputation. This complaint will be posted at BBB website and will be addressed to Consumer Affairs bureau.

I ask for a fade and end up with a high and tight. Then the barber tries to muscle a tip out of me. Are you kidding me? This was many months ago but I see that their prices haven’t changed. The prices are dirt cheap and that’s the cut that you can expect to receive. Have fun!

I normally stick with my own barber, who is on the other side of town. But I end up in this group of shops often for the gym that’s there and the grocery store.
So the other day I was in a hurry to get things done and walked out of the nearby store and decided to give this new Great Clips a shot. The place smelled new as I walked in. I expected it to be clean but maybe because it was new but it felt like it had just came out of the packaging.
A gal stopped cutting someones hair and checked me in. within minutes another gal had me in the chair.
I was nervous. After going to a guys barber shot for a long time, “your average chain barbershop” felt like they would really screw up my head.
But after discussing 3 or 4 particulars including what number clippers to use on the side, we were off and cutting. And it turned out pretty darn good.
The price, well its very affordable. 1/3 as much as I had been paying. I was sure to give a nice % at the end to the barber. She did a great job.
