Guardian Mortgage

This is about my experience with George Makoutz: Truly a treasure! Found him on the internet so was skeptical: He soon proved his expertise. Held my hand every step; explained each part of the process; spent hrs on the phone going over my numbers; and worked with the lawyer and realtor so we were ready on time and without error. During the process, a huge problem arose – George walked me thru the solution and made it work. What I liked most is that he was previously an underwriter, so he anticipates the problems and resolves them early!

Bruce has always kept us in the loop as the process progresses. We’ve used him to refi at least five times over the years. Been an honest and helpful person.

I had an overall stressful experience with Guardian Mortgage. The communication was poor with my LO. At times, he wouldn’t even respond to emails. My closing date was pushed back over a handful of times, making it a month and a half later than it was supposed to be originally. The underwriting process seemed easy as I received it back with my conditional approval fairly quickly but then a week before closing there were many things that the underwriter missed. My realtor and title company also advised me that they had a bit of trouble with the mortgage company as well. I would not recommend Guardian Mortgage.

I COULD NEVER THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR ALL THAT YOU DID!!! YOU ROCK & ROLL SIR!! YOUR PASSION & HARD WORK IS EXACTLY WHAT I DESIRED & YOU WENT WAAAAAY ABOVE & BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS!!! I PRAISE GOD FOR YOU!!!

I just refinanced my home with Bruce Grimes and had a great experience. Bruce sent weekly status updates on where we were In the process and responded quickly to any questions I had and thoroughly explain the answers. Great experience.
