Improv U

I LOVE Improv U! I’m part of the Black Improv Alliance and Anthony and everyone at Improv U has been so kind and welcoming to us. Performing there is always an enjoyable experience, and Anthony is so talented. He’s such an amazing instructor with plenty of knowledge to spare. I highly recommend taking classes with him.

Anthony Francis is the real deal. He’s a phenomenal performer and the rare person who teaches a skill just as well as he does it. I have been studying improvisational acting for 11 years, and Anthony is one of my favorite teachers on the planet. Whether you’re a doe-eyed beginner or a seasoned veteran, he’ll pinpoint ways you can improve as a performer, give you specific method and exercises, and empower you with the courage to try them. I recently took his solo improv workshop with my team, and we came away feeling stronger and more prepared both as a team and as individuals. Anthony is generous with his knowledge and incredibly thoughtful in his approach. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I can not recommend this company enough. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and tailor each class to specific needs of all levels. So if you are a beginner you might be able to play with advanced players! I say you have nothing to loose as no matter where you are in the improv game they truly make the space a home. It’s a tribe! Hope to see you there! Yes, and I know I will. 😉

Anthony is one of the best teachers I’ve ever had in any subject. He’s a magnanimous human being. Improv classes aren’t just extremely fun- Anthony is so engaged and versatile when it comes to meeting the needs of all of us, offering unique and personal notes to a wide variety of experience. He really makes you feel important and seen. And the videos he sends out with tips just light up my day. I learned so much about myself and life from his classes. Improv is a way of life, not just a hobby for him, and his beautiful message of love and fun ring loud and clear. More than all of his talent as a performer, teacher and all around hilarious guy, he’s the kind of person that gives you hope for humanity. He leads with his heart and every person he interacts with is lucky to know him. A rare gem of a person. I am so grateful that our paths have bumped into each other. I hope that happens again and again.

I love this place. Anthony is one of the best instructors I’ve ever met not just in Florida but in USA. The drop in classes are always fun and I learn something new every time. The shows are great too. Best entertainment for the money period whether it’s a class or a show, not to mention some of their amazing annual events like the Improv Cruise or Palm Beach Improv Festival which are phenomenal.
