We had a good 3 years with them, with our agent Maria who is super responsive and does her job in finding us great homeowners quotes.

Not sure what happened and Maria left late last year and we ow deal with another agent who is the total opposite. Not responsive through emails until we had to call or follow up, did not find us the best quote compared to other agencies and wanted us to sign a less than desirable quote. I know it’s Covid, and we have cut them a lot of slack and tried to work with them because we wanted to maintain the relationship. Unfortunately, this agent’s unprofessional attitude has put us off, we are taking our business elsewhere.

This is one of those mommy poppy side of the road bucket shops. They are not competitive with the big boys

This business relationship went down the drain miserably: when policy renewal time for multiple vehicles approached, I discovered a massive (+15%) price jump – without any claims or any other changes.

But several voice mails and emails to Kirstein over a few weeks period, trying to find out what happened and why, went unanswered. Go figure. So I gave up and lined up insurance with another carrier who was anxious to win us back.

And guess what? The very last day before the old policy expired, a Kirstein agent emailed me (not a good time to call an unhappy customer?) and basically said “Who cares about the 15% jump? You better renew now, otherwise you’re f*. “ To which I answered: “Thank you and goodbye forever.” To Progressive Insurance (the carrier with a customer retention rate of only 44%, one the very lowest in the industry), and to the rude Kirstein agency with their pitiful customer treatment.

Steven and his knowledgeable staff are amazing at what they do. When it comes to your insurance needs whether it may be home, auto, even boats they are you go to company. I highly recommend them!

Steven and his team are terrific always there to help me with all my insurance needs ! Great service use them and you will not be disappointed!
