I was discharged from the hospital 2 days ago (Wednesday) & was told someone would call me from this center on Thursday to have an aide set a time to come out to my home to change out my bandages & wound vac machine for Friday. Since I have not heard from anyone I called first thing this morning to find out a status on a time frame & the lady who answered the phone was rude & stated they refused to take my case. Without any explanation as to why I hung up & contacted Care Centrix, the company who referred me to them. While on the phone with Care Centrix they themselves contacted Matrix to find out what was going on & they were advised that they had no one available to come out to my home until Tuesday but I needed to call them back to schedule a time. Again I called Matrix & once again the lady who answered was extremely rude & stated they did not accept my case. I advised her that a representative from Care Centrix just spoke with someone from their office & was told they didn’t have someone available until Tuesday so I was just calling to set a time. Again the woman stated “We are not taking your case” & hung up. You would think a center like this would have decent customer service since they are assisting people who NEED help. All I simply wanted was to find out when someone was going to be coming to my home to help me due to a severe motorcycle accident I was in.
