New York Prime

Food -My wife had a 3 lb lobster that was very good. I had NY Strip 16 oz that was tough and not worthy to be called a prime cut.
Service – was slow as it took over 1 hour to be served our main course after getting our salad.
Atmosphere – Restaurant was crowded and very noisy. Not a relaxing experience for supposedly fine dining.

This place is definitely one of the tastiest restaurants in the area. Every time I go there I am extremely happy. They keep their very high standard service and the topmost level of cooking they provide. You no doubt will love this place. Highly recommended.

Went for our office Christmas party and it was a blast. Amazing food and great service. Tiffany and Lynn were great bartenders, very knowledgeable, attentive and beautiful! Sad I didn’t take pictures of the food.

I have been going to NY Prime since the early 1990’s, usually when someone else insists. I’m not going to say that it’s not good, but I just never seem to look forward to this restaurant. The steaks are decent but plain, the prices high, the sides expensive. It always seems like the main reason to go here is to see and be seen. The bar is a scene, a meet market of a different type. The cars out front are flashy, parked in a way to let you know that “I have a Lamborghini and you don’t”, valet is mandatory (unless you want to park in the garage for the office building next door), and somehow they always make me feel as though I don’t quite belong here.

It’s not that I can’t afford it, but more like I just don’t care to. This is the ultimate in Boca showiness. If I need a steak, it’s Chops or Capital Grille.
