Options University

These guys are crooks. I purchased their volcone analyzer software, which came with a LIFETIME LICENSE when I bought it. Less than 3 years later I bought a new PC and needed to reinstall the product. The license key no longer worked. I contacted Options University and they basically told me to go fly a kite:
“We apologize for the inconvenience. The system permits 2 installations, each for one computer. More than 2 installations is not permitted. Also, the ownership of the system has changed twice now and that policy has been changed to 1 years worth of upgrades and support. Please let us know if you need anymore assistance.”

Obviously this is NOT what “lifetime license” means in any definition I have ever seen. Also they themselves admit they changed the terms of service from lifetime to 1 year license AFTER purchase. STAY AWAY from these guys. They just want your money.
