Pollo Tropical

I ordered a Tropi Chop small. The rice was completely under cooked. Chunks of hard rice reminds me of sand. I tried to call the store to just warn them they are selling under cooked rice but no answer. I clicked to give feed back and click option to place an order over the phone. No one answered.

I just left the boca location. I ordered online. My order and payment were processed. When I went inside to get my order they informed they changed the hours and now close at 9. I never received the food I paid for. I’m not expecting word class service, but seriously ?!

I don’t know why we’ve given this place multiple attempts. More often than not, the food is either incorrect, cold as ice, or missing half of the order. One of the worst run businesses I’ve ever dealt with. Other Pollos I’ve been to have been fine, but this location is horrible.

The hours say they close at 11pm, but they actually close at 9. And when you drive up at 9, the workers walking out of the back door (with multiple of bags of food in each hand) are rude about telling you it’s closed. Their chicken was dry most of the time anyway. Don’t worry though, Burger King is open and is willing to serve you food until midnight or later.

I have been to this location a lot over the years. Nothing was really that special until about 2 weeks ago when Genesis took my order. She was extremely pleasant and caring. She let me know that they have an FAU student discount, which was really just the icing on the cake. I will continue to come to this location just because of her great customer service!!!
