Very large park, didn’t see all of it. The beach was beautiful today.

I didn’t see anyone fishing on the beach, we left gear in the car. Seemed to crowded to put lines in water on Valentine’s day.

Lots of swimmers, surfers, kite surfing. Great sand, clean water. Be careful we saw a couple jelly fish.

I have been going to Florida to visit my in-laws for 25 years and this is my favorite beach park. It’s never too crowded. On a calm day, you can snorkel around the small reef and see lots of fish. The facilities are always clean and the freshwater showers help you leave most of the sand at the beach instead of in your car. I love the family friendly atmosphere, ample parking and the posted weather and sea conditions. If you don’t jave a residential pass, it costs $20 to get in. But, having had bad experiences at other beaches, I think it is well worth the price. It is such a beautiful place I have considered moving to Florida just to be able to enjoy it more often. Enjoy!

We saw a barracuda, tons of different reef fish, a large jack, small moray eel, and two stingrays all in an hr. This is a nice little hidden gem. I suggest parking across the street at $3 per hour versus $20 to park at the park. Clean bathroom facilities, kid friendly.
